How to burn better quality dvds with nero?

Question

I used Nero Express to burn two videos from a tv show I downloaded onto an external dvd drive.

The videos are in Xvid format and they are really clear and good quality. But when I burned them onto dvd, the video was VERY choppy and paused all the time. The quality was very bad.

How can I make the quality better? Is it because I used an external dvd drive or I didn't convert the format?

What should I do?

just burn the dvd with divx and it will be Cristal clear.

Try turning down the burn speed, and make sure you use high quality discs. Never use dirty discs or discs with finger prints on them.

Make sure virus scanner etc.. doesn't start up in the middle of the burn.

Last option would be to try different software.
