How to burn dvds wit cd burner?

i have alot of dvd rewritable and i dont want to burn any movies on it just like files and stuff too big for nomal disks. thanks in advance

u need a combo drive

No, you can't. But DVD-writer 's not expensive and able to write CD too.

Unless you have a combo drive, like my new one, you can only burn CDs on your drive, not DVD's.

you cant, its a CD RW not DVD RW!

ok here is how you do it you take it out sell it on ebay take what ever money you made and add some more and go buy a dvd burner and put that in your machine that is the only way i know how to burn dvds using a cd burner

CD drives (whether its burners or readers) cannot read DVD disc. CD drives are for CD disc only.

DVD drives are compatible for both DVD discs AND CD discs.
