I have pictures that I would like to burn onto a 4.7GB DVD R. I can't figure out how to do it? Through itunes or iphoto? Is there another direct process through the finder? Please help!

  1. Yes, and it's quite easy, insert the blank DVD and let it load, just like all other discs, it will show up on the desktop on the right side of the screen, now find the picture files you are looking for (usually end with jpg) drag and drop the files to the DVD icon, open up the DVD and look at the files on the disc, this is how the DVD will look once burned, now I forgot exactly where this is located, but on the bar on top of the screen, there should say the words File, Edit, and some other drop down menus, in one of those menus, there should be an option to burn the DVD, select that and it should burn the DVD

That's a lot of pictures if it requires a DVD, wow

  2. Try this software:

Step by step guide here: http://www.macdvdconverter.com/guides/ma...

Also, you can find some other software: http://www.ask.com

  3. One the DVD appears on your Desktop, just drag the photo you want to burn onto it. They can be in iPhoto, in another folder, anywhere. Then just open the Disk (double-click it) and click Burn.
