How to buy a 35 check for an application for England?

My brother lived in london for a year and traveling to the USA and immigration wants a letter from the police stating any record found. To do so, he needs to send a 70 pound check but we dont know how to get it either from usa or Ecuador. Please help!!!

  1. Most major banks do money orders in many currencies, and certainly in British Pound. Just head to a major bank like Citi, Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, Wachovia and ask for a British Pound Money Order... there's a service charge on top of the foreign exchange conversion of course.

    Currently, each British Pound is worth about USD $2, so it will cost you at least USD $70, plus the service charge.
