Is there a way to buy a large chunk of the sahara/arabian desert? Forgive me if this is a dumb question.

  1. It is extremely difficult for an expatriate to buy property in Saudi Arabia, and since most contracts are just for a few years there is little incentive to do so. The purchase of property by foreigners used to be prohibited, and although this is no longer the case it is virtually impossible to buy a house which costs anything less than a million UK pounds (Sterling).

Foreign investors can purchase private land for construction and investment, but also prior approval is required, and projects (buildings) must be valued more than SAR30 million (US$7,998,933), including land and construction costs.

I do not think that this is what you are looking for, right? The Sahara just is not for sale unless for investors like mentioned above.

    I forgive you:)) Salam
