  1. www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com is the train company for that line.

  2. You need an advance purchase ticket; the further you book ahead, the cheaper it will be; go to Bradford Station or to book on line go to www.nationalexpresseastcoast.co.uk

  3. Go to your local Railway ticket office at least 6 weeks in advance and have the day, time of departure or arrival in London and ask the clerk to check to see what the cheapest ticket availiable is, be prepared to change times if required to allow them scope to check a couple of trains.  You could be lucky and obtain a single fare for about £10 if your early. Check the restrictions and make sure it suits your journey because the early tickets can not really be changed and are heavily restricted.

If you want to use the internet to purchase your ticket, be warned that allow at least 10 days for delivery and remember that there will be a surcharge on top of the ticket for post and administration on most sites.

  4. Use www.thetrainline.co.uk. Put in your starting station (Bradford) and terminal (London, King's Cross) and the date and time you wish to travel. That will show you all available tickets for that day and time. If you wish to return, it might tell you that two singles are better than one return. But you do need to book early as the very cheap offers get snapped up quickly. The new train company, Nationalexpress East Coast do have some good offers on at the moment.

  5. hi hogun, you must book early,  blue

  6. the earlier you book, the cheaper the ticket, otherwise trains are quite expensive.
