My sister is turning 18 and my brothers and I want to pitch in and buy her something she really wants and she wants a dirt bike. Go figure.

How do we figure out the right size for her she's 5'4'' about 120 lbs we figure a fourstroke is best for power since she's a beginner. If someone could recomend a model for Kawasaki, Honda or Yamaha that'd be awesome.

Thanks.

  1. She may already know what she wants, but if she does not a great beginner bike that holds its value well is the Yamaha TTR125L or the  Honda CRF150F  Hope this helps.

PS stay with a major brand!

  2. Cool

    TTR 125(yamaha)

    CRF 100(Honda)

    DR-Z 125(Suzuki)

    KLX 140(Kawasaki

Those are probably good for her size

  3. Pacific Toy Company buys licenses to put those names on bicycles sold at Toys R Us, WalMart, Target, etc. These are really cheaply made bikes, and may not be appropriate for the kind of riding your sister wants to do. take her to a bike shop, so she can test ride a few bikes, and decide what is best for her. they'll have a wide range of mountain bikes to choose from. look for entry level bikes from Gary Fisher, Specialized, Trek, or Giant..
