How to buy tickets for a single Nebraska Cornhuskers game?

I live here in a Nebraska and am trying to obtain tickets to the Kansas-Huskers game on Nov.8th. What is the best way to go about this? Buying tickets from a reseller (StubHub.com, etc.) or buying them from the UNL ticket office directly? If the ticket office is best, how do I go about this? (From what I'm reading you can't buy tickets from the office until 4 hours before the game, correct?)

I am leaving for boot camp a couple days after and want to go to my first Husker's game in case I don't get another chance. I obviously want good seats with an affordable price. Do you have a preference/suggestion on where to sit?

Or try to find an actual student and have them buy you a ticket. Students usually get first crack at the single game tickets that are left over from the season ticket buyers.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding tickets...they aren't the hot item they once were back a few years ago. Losing seasons makes it easier to find tickets.

I would just scalp them outside the stadium. You will save yourself a lot of money. Of course it just depends on what game you want to go to.

Huskers.com is the official site of UNL. You would be safe bying them online from there, or even over the phone.

I would also suggest sitting close to the 50 yard line. That way you see the whole field instead of just parts. If tickets aren't available there, aim for tickets in the south endzone because that way you will be able to see the new Big Screen.
