  1. Well, a minute is just 1/60 of a degree. A second is 1/60 of a minute. You can calculate it that way based on distance from the equator.

  2. 1 degrees=4 minutes

  3. The reason your question remains confusing is because you have asked a question similar to this:

    "If you are standing on a line, how far are you from the line?"

    If you are at 23 degrees south, you are on that line.  There are no minutes.  Or the minutes are zero.

    You say you have "worked out" the measurements.  Explain how you worked them out.

  4. its like ya do with the time:

    4 example if the latitude is 23.5° than it will become 23° and 30'

    that is the way it works: take the numbers after the . when ya've latitude in degrees and multiply this number by 60 (e.g. 23.5° => 23° (0.5*60)' if the multiplication is still not an "perfect number" then apply it again (e.g. 23.215° => 23° (0.215*60)' => 23° 12.9' => 23° 12' (0.9*60)'' => 23° 12' 54''

    if ya have to convert the whole measurement from ° to minutes then multiply by 60

    23° => (23*60)' => 1380'

    from degrees to seconds multiply by 3600

    23° => (23*3600)'' => 82800

    from minutes to seconds multiply by 60

    1380' => (1380*60)'' => 82800''
