How to calculate arrears in salary?

suppose my current salary is 10000$ and i get an increament of 2000$ but if i am getting my latest salary after 2 months of my apprisal time. What would be my salary after two months. Will they add any intrest on that?

  1. well basically, payrolls are prepared every two weeks. and there are typically 26 payroll periods in a year.

    If you are currently getting 10000, the payroll department calculated what that is every two weeks. If you are getting

    a $2000 raise, on the day your raise becomes effective, they will now base your two week payouts on 12000/26.......and go forward from there.  Typically raises are timed to coincide with the start of a payroll period. That way, on the payroll of your raise, you don't get paid 1 week at 10000, and the second week at 12000


  2. I think you need to report to the Human Resources department ASAP and resign.
