How to calculate profit with basketball betting point spread formula?

I was applying basketball betting spreads formulae to calculate the profit margin. But I’m not sure that I’m doing it in right way. Here is my question, if Toronto scores 40-37 over Dallas then what would be the profit?

Here is the betting spread formula to calculate the profit. As 40-37 is difference of 3 points and you bought 0.3 with £10 per points so, 3 points – 0.3 = 2.8 >> 2.8 x £10/points= £28. So you will get 18$ profit on 10$ bet
