How to calculate the average atomic mass of silver ?

i want to understand this..

i know u multiply percent abundances and mass

but i don't know how u get those numbers...

help plz!

  1. in order to get the relative abundances, you would need a mass spectrometer to separate out each of the different isotopes.  with the mass spec, you can count how much of each isotope is in some sample that you might have.  with that, you can compute your average atomic mass.
