How to call Germany from the US?

I have a phone number: Tel.: 0731 / 500-54536, who do I call this from the US???

To place a call, you have to dial 011 then the country number, city code and phone number (like our area code & number). I'm not sure what the numbers you have are. Try dialing after the 011. Otherwise, dial 0 and speak to the operator. Good luck.
