  1. Many of the VoIP services offer 3-way, or multiple calling features.  This is also known as Conference Calling.

    When you place a 3-way, or 4-way, etc., call you are generally billed for each leg of the call.  In other words, a 3-way call will cost you the LD rate for each leg, or one leg x2.  A 4-way call will charge you approx x3 LD rate.

    It's like placing 2 or 3 long distance calls at the same time... and each leg is billed independently.

    Probably one of the easiest, and low-cost, ways to try this is with Skype.  If you subscribe to Skype Unlimited service (about $3/month) , you can place conference calls with up to 10 participants on-line at once.... for no extra cost.

    I have used Skype for conference calling in the past and it worked quite good.
