  1. The only way to make them get over their fear is to have them face their fear. Have them stand outside during the storm, and no matter how much they freak out, don't let them back in. (I recommend staying outside with them just in case they go nuts.) After a while they will adjust to it, and see that it is not as bad as they think it is.

  2. The only way to get over a fear is to face it head on.

  3. tell them that the chances of them getting struck by lightning are very very rare!

  4. Hypnosis

  5. They need to find out why that is so scary for them (usually this is just the surface)

But you can confront the fear and also think that it shouldn't be so scary. Repeat over and over: "thunders are not scary".

if it is really very bad, maybe go for a professional help. (Then you will find out what is the real cause of this fear)

  6. Tell them to get over it.

  7. GO outside and conquer it !

  8. thunder is p**p rain is pee

  9. turn on some loud rock music or some scream-O..

    and just chill..

they wouldn't be able to hear the thunder..

    or anything..
