  1. yes....I have read your post with interest!!! and I feel for you .....!

so I will post a reply and some tips on HOW do deal with Vonage....and all the others too....!

    1. most VoIP providers do not pro-rate when you cancel, so cancel around the 15th of the month...

    2. VERY IMPORTANT....before you cancel....change your credit card with a virtual credit card number (you can get a temporary virtual CC number from almost any carrier...! I have Citibank CC and they give you a 30-6-90 day expiration date, you choose!! ( yes... its perfectly legal)

    3. the next thing that will happen now, and thats the funny part....Vonage will contact you....asking for the payment....now!!! the ball is in your court.....you tell them that you can canceled 3 month ago.....and Vonage will reply no such knowledge of any one cancel your account!!! ( they are trained to say that)

    4. this is the only way to deal with them.....they get what they deserve, and you are not out of your money!!

keep in mind that Vonage makes alot of money from disconnection .......cancellation fees and keeping ppl money from the credit cards!

  2. Call customer service and cancel it

  3. Call customer service and say " I dont F***ing care, cancel it now." and if they say no or try to keep you, ask for a manager. And really let it out. I had to deal with this with Rhapsody Music Service from bestbuy. They would not let me cancel and I had a panic attack. It was terrible. SO I called back and threatened them with legal action, and how they have to let me cancel. Just keep trying and yelling at them. They will cancel it. If they dont, call your credit card or bank and say Stop payment on this service, it is fraud. they wont allow me to cancel. GOOD LUCK!
