How to card proof a lock??

The lock on my door is very sturdy and everything but what pisses me off is you can open the lock with a credit card. Is there a way to make the lock unpickable with a card or do they maybe sell locks like that?

you need to buy a better lock or put a metal plate in frount of it so noone can get a card in there

Mike go to Homedepot or Lowes and buy door lock guard,  It goes over edge of door, and outside edge of guard comes out about 3/4 inch to prevent opening with anything flat.  They come in brass or chrome and cost about $8.00.
