How to care for a blued firearm?

I was wondering how exactly you can help protect a blued firearm against rusting? I always hear that even fingerprints can cause rust on a blued firearm.

keep oiled when stored away , i use a remington spray oil its the best , it gets any where u need , try not to get the gun wet or exposed to moisture , when stored away for a long time mix gun grease with oil it will last longer , most oils will evaporate over time ...
