  1. take it to the vet

  2. take him or her to the vet

  3. You need to get the cat to a vet immediately, it could have internal injuries. Cats are a master at hiding injuries and pain until they no longer can.  The day the dog attacked you cat, you should have immediately taken it to the vet.  Good Luck, and I hope the cat is ok.

  4. Take him to vet if you haven't. It might be more serious than just broken ribs. The cat is probably in agony right now, there might be internal damage also. Go to the VET ASAP. If you can;t afford one, don;t get animals then.

  5. V-E-T! What would you do if your ribs were broken???

DO NOT give it Tyenol, you will kill it!! NO human painkillers are safe!! You have to get painkillers for cats from a vet. Tylenol destroys the liver and kidneys in cats.

Edit: Oh,what is wrong with people? DO NOT give the cat aspirin, either!! The only safe dosage of aspirin for an adult cat is one baby aspirin every three days!! If you give a kitten  a baby aspirin every four hours, you will kill it!! Just take the poor thing to the vet!!

  6. Take it to a vet itll probably stay there for a few days then when it comes home look over it very carefully and don't let it outside.

  7. There is not much you can do for broken ribs not even on a human - a vet would be a better option but if your resources can afford that then bind him with an ace bandage(not to tight ofcourse) for a few weeks and the cat doesnt have to ware it without ever taking it off from time to time- the cat most defiantly wont like the binding at all but it will save a little pain in daily activities, such as jumping down on the floor or just regular walking around can be painful on the ribs - I have also given my animals a baby aspirin every 4 hours to help ease some pain.

  8. take it to a vet first!

  9. wrapp the kitten in some soft srong matterial to keep the ribs in one place,i give it children tylonal, then give it milk whole milk is the best,do that for a week if it dont work take it to the vet

  10. What did the vet say? If you aren't satisfied or have questions, tell the vet and/or go to another vet. Hopefully the vet has provided pain medication, as broken ribs are extremely painful. If not, you need to switch vets and get some good quality pain meds that are safe for kittens while the ribs heal. My vet gave me Buprenex to give my cat for pain due to intestinal illness. It is very easy to give to cats - liquid with no bad taste. It may not be strong enough for the pain of broken ribs, but you can ask your vet about it. Pain meds and rest should have been prescribed by the vet who diagnosed the broken ribs. The vet could also recommend an ultrasound with a specialist to check for internal damage.

  11. take the kitten to the vet so they can rap them so she doesnt get injrured more and talk to them but if they dont no anything call animal control for tips, they usually know what to do with injured animals

  12. You're kidding right?  ARE YOU CRAZY?

Get the cat to the vet immediately.  What are you doing on this website when you know your pet needs medical attention?

While you're at it, ask the vet to rehome your kitten.

As a pet owner it's your responsibility to ensure that it is safe.  I'm surprised it is even still alive.  Withholding necessary vet care is considered animal abuse.
