  1. They are carnivorous and can grow to almost three feet long so can't be kept in a 10g tank.

  2. I just recently bought two rope fish.

The first one I bought didn't live...it never ate and my aquarium had just been set up.

A week later I tried again after letting my 30 gallon tank sit for a day and filter. It is very healthy and happy.

    Some info--

-I feed frozen bloodworms and she LOVES it. I haven't seen her eat anything else, tho I have tried shrimp pellets.

-I keep the tank temp at 78.

-You will need atleast a 30 gallon tank, don't pay attention to the whole 55 or 75 gallon thing...they have plenty of room with 30...

-Be careful as to what fish you include with this little guy...they can get aggresive and eat anything bigger then them

-They can escape (tho mine hasn't attempted to yet) and really can jump.
