Hello,

I have a sensitive plant. It is about one and a half years old. It is huge. Much bigger than they say on the net. It is doing great and is really healthy. I am just wondering what I can do to continue this, is there anyone who knows a lot about sensitives? Any sites on them? Thanks.

  1. It would be very helpful if you let us know the name, and not just referred to is as "sensitive" there are a lot of categories of sensitive. Is it sensitive to water, light, acidic soil?

  2. I think you have a plant whose leaves curl up when you touch them. If it is big, it might blossom sometimes (pinkish mimosa-like flowers?). My advice is they like dry sandy soil, so don't overwater them.

  3. Most plants when you have had them that long will benefit from repotting into the next size container, usually 2" larger than the present one. Fertilize it with slow release fertilizer and resume care. Sounds like you are taking good care of it now.
