How to catch a chipmunk?

I've never caught a chipmunk, but we've managed to catch a ton of squirrels, bunnies, an opossum, and even a few birds by mistake, with live traps.  Heh, we barely even need to bait the thing, animals just seem to flock to it.  Try looking here, if you don't have one: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/brows...

I can't say for sure if the site is good or not, but those look like the kind of traps we use.

Why would you want to catch one???  They are pretty fast critters...Not sure how you would catch one...a net maybe.

go to disneyland. they're easier to catch there because they're so much bigger. lol

leave some nuts and a humane trap.

i caught a squirell and actually a bird with an old fashioned box, stick, and food trap. just make sure to wear gloves and make sure to put an opening on the top that you can open and close,

My cats kill them all the time, it's the most effective way. Other wise you can use a humane(catch/release) Have-a-Heart trap. Just put some food in it, but you might catch something else. I had a friend who got 30 Chipmunks in few days with one.
