I'm turning 22 on September 8th, 2008 & am aimlessly trying to figure out what to do for my birthday celebration. I haven't really had a good one since I can remember, so I'm trying to make this the BEST! I live in Staten Island, but will travel to the city for fun as I do all the time! What I would love would be me going out with 4-7 friends during the day for maybe lunch, something fun (an activity) and then dessert :) And then my fiance will probably be planning a dinner for the two of us later on. I need help figuring out where I can go during the day.

Any suggestions as to a good lunch place, a fun activity, and/or a good dessert place in manhattan would be sooooo helpful!

  1. Well, birthday lunch is always rushy unless your friends don't need to work afterwards.  There are some good Japanese Restaurants in East Village they have lunch specials (around $10), take a walk on 9st and 3ave or around the block, not expensive at all.  If you hit mid town or uptown those places are more for business people and pricier.

    Good luck!
