How to change a Tiff. file to a JPG. file?

I have some pictures that I want to put on facebook, if ur familiar with facebook they only accept JPG, GIF, OR PNG files.. How do I change the file over to that format? The pics I have are TIFF. files... Need Help Please thankx!

in windows;

1> open .tiff file in paint

2> save as .jpg

note: sometimes the video hardware / drivers etc. can play havoc with the .jpg conversion

I have several computers and the laptop is the worst when it comes to saving as .jpg

I can take the exact same file and get different .jpg files from the laptop and a desktop

if the .jpg files are too fried after conversion use .png

.png uses lossless compression
