Hi it is real simple on the side of the trans you will see the modulator valve there will be a vacum line conected to it, just remove the vacum line and the two bolts that hold the valve on install the new valve tighten the two bolts reconect vacume line and your done, good luck

that,s easy enough! there,s a bolt you need to take out and a clamp that holds it, then it just pulls straight out, after you take the hose off.

you can adjust the shift firmness by this valve also. Same goes on a TH-400.

pull the vacuum line off. remove the bolt or s***w that holds the retainer bracket onto the trans, remove the bracket and the modulator, reverse order for installation.
