what is 90 in a percent?

i have to do

90 times 40%

do i just change 90 into a percent and then times them together?

    0.40 x 90

    So basically all you are doing is dividing 40% by 100, and then timesing it by 90.

    40%= .40

    you multiply 90 to .40

    90 x .40 = 36.00 = 36

  4. 90 X 40% is 36 (90 * 0.4)

    to change a # to a % you gotta divide it by 100.

    = 90 x (40 ÷ 20)/(100 ÷ 20) (= 90 x 40 ÷ 100)

    = 90 x 2/5 (= 90 x 0.4)

    = 180/5 (= 36)

  6. Do this

    40 over 100 times 90.

    Simplify the numbers by cutting some zeros , then times and divide.

    Works for me, and I got 100% on my latest math test.
