How to change guinea pig routine?

I know it's important to have a 'daily routine' for your guinea pig. I had a good one when I was in school with them, but since it's been summer it's gotten changed and they've gotten used to staying up later at night, and eating later in morning, and when school starts again that won't work. Is there anyway I can gradually change their "routine" to fit mine for school? Thanks in advance!!

The weeek before school starts gradually start going to bed earlier adn feeding earlier. Do it in little incramints so you ease your guinea pigs into is. It will also get you back on your schedule to get ready for school

Get up and change their schedule 3-5 minutes later at a time.

I should probably start a new schedule too.

3-5 seems like a decent time frame frame, like a little fragment of time but not so much they'd starve, so yea try that, every day so maybe 2 days 5 min.'s later, then the next 2 days 5 min.'s later. Try it idk if it'll work though probably

Do the same things at the same time each day and the GP will soon adapt.

You need to ween your guinea pig into a new routine. You would do this by making the schedule different a little bit each night. It's important that you do not change it all in one night, as your guinea pig will not catch on, and scream and carry on until the food is given at the previous scheduled time.

Just make it a little bit different each night, and your guinea pig will not have a problem adapting to this new schedule. I guess you'll have to do this every summer!

yeah same thing is happening with me ! just let your guinea pig get used to it and it will work out fine :D
