I need to use a wooden queen size headboard on a full size bed frame. I realize that some headboard come with full/queen places to connect. However, this one does not. Is there any way to add something to this headboard to make it work for a full size bed?

  1. You may have to add a strip of plywood to the back of the "legs" and drill the now closer holes in that if the existing legs are not wide enough.

  2. It depends on the type of bed.

We have one that I converted just like yours.  All I had to do was drill new holes in the headboard at the correct height and distance apart that would fit the full bed.  I then used regular nuts, bolts, and washers to connect it to the bed frame.
