Click forgot password. They will immediately mail you back instructions with a captcha page so you can change it. I just did mine earlier today.

Here’s a quick procedure you should follow in order to change your Hotmail (now named Windows Live Hotmail) password:

Login to your Hotmail mail account.

Click the Options button (at the right hand side)

Click More Options

In the Manage your Account Settings, click View and edit your personal information.

At this stage you might be prompted to authenticate yourself by supplying your current password.

Click the Change link at the right hand side of your password. The following form will open up:  

Enter your current password, and type your new selected password twice.

Tip: If you want your password to auto-expire, click the Make my password expire every 72 days check box.  

Click Save.

At the bottom of the page where you normally sign in click "forgot password" it will send you an e-mail to your other address and you can change it through that :)
