How to change my modems username and passwoard???

Question

i live in india.

i use broadband connection.

i want to change the modem/router password.

please tell me how shu i do it

give step by step procedure

i tried 192.168.1.1 website which doesnt open

why it is not opening

and also give any other procedure.

On your computer go to Start > Run > Type in "cmd" and hit enter. In the black window type ipconfig /all

The default gateway address is the correct address of your router. So type that into your web browser. It may be 192.168.0.1 or something other than 192.168.1.1.

remove your http before using 192.168.1.1

to check whether your modem is responding or not you can try ping command by using following steps

press start

press run

in run type " ping 192.168.1.1" with out colons

if you get screen saying reply from this ip then your connection will definately works.
