Recently I was told that I have a monotone voice. I was told I have a robot sounding voice. I record myself and found this to be true. In my head I had this voice but what came out was a monotone voice. I was told singing helps but I am unsure, does it? What are some ways to change or put some emotion in my monotone voice?

  1. Inflection

  2. Look at the facial expressions of the people on the tv. What do they sound like with each mood they portray? Then go in front of the mirror and recreate that. It's the art of communication, it's in you.

  3. Singing can definitely help. When you watch tv, just pick a random line from a show and repeat it. Ask yourself if it has the same tones or sounds the same as the way the actor said it. Work from there.

  4. Okay, this is going to be a really weird response... but I'll say it anyway.

For some reason, I find guys with monotonous deep voices really attractive. lol it's strange and i have no idea why it is.

So for the sake of my life, in case I ever meet you, I hope you keep your monotonous voice!! lol.
