The only way you can do that is by cheating with pokesav. If you don't know how to use pokesav or if you don't know what it is, tell me what name and gender you wan't and I'll be happy to help you with this. So just press L+R:

After you have begun your game on Pokemon Diamond, there is no way that you can change your name in Pokemon Diamond unless you were to cheat using a cheating device such as an Action Replay or a GameShark.
