  1. You need to get a regulator as LP Gas needs regulated. Also you need to purchase different orifices because of the weight between the two gasses are different the holes size is different. There are things you need to buy and install to change if safely. You need to contact either sears appliances( they keep records) or go directly to Kenmore. Don't just guess.

  2. if you are converting this unit to lp it is more than just the o*****e. unless this is a sealed unit. o*****e's must be changed due to pressures that are fed with natural gas being 3.5" water column and lp being 10.5" water column. its not about weight its about pressure. also becuase there is a presuure differnce the gas valve must be converted as well as it is a "pressure regulator". please call your gas supplier to have this done. the unit must be flowed tested after it is converted so you know your outside regulator is tuned to the rest of your appliances. as also you want your stove to be correct as well. sure in the conversion instructions it will show you how to do this but if you look on the first page it will ask you to contact a qualified service man. there is a reason we went to schooling for this. it may seem like a very easy task but is it worth maybe 50 bucks to have your supplier to do it or a home owner claim  for a house fire becuase something that seemed easy to do wasnt done right by the home owner??

  3. Need model number not serial number, but the instructions should be on the kit.
