Go to My account just below where it says welcome,--------- -> your yahoo id, then there will come a page woth all your details, and where it says password: Change password click there, it will ask for your current password, new password ( one u wish to have ) and then confirming your new password, and that is it...hope it helps!

easy.....follow this

first of all you can find OPTIONS  on right top(not on the peak but little above) ....click on that & select MAIL OPTIONS....then on the left select the option ACCOUNT INFORMATION.......then he asks you to type the password. do that.after that you will find an option CHANGE PASSWORD in blue & underlined letters......select that & change your password

   1. Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.

   2. Click "My Account" at the top of the page, just below where you see "Welcome, yourname."

   3. Enter your password and click "Continue."

   4. Click the Change Password link, located near the top of this page.

   5. Enter your Current Password in the space provided.

   6. Type your New Password.

      Note: Passwords are case sensitive (so PASSWORD, PassWoRd, and password are not the same).

   7. Confirm your New Password by typing it again. A strong password contains a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters.

   8. Click the "Save" button to put your new password into effect.
