How to change size of the front page in dreamweaver?

I have a background , and a page infront of it , am trying to make that page a little wider to cover more part of the background , i tried the margin and all stuff , but all it dose is moves the front page , am trying to make the front page wider , change its right and left size , please help thank you!!!!

The question you have to ask yourself is:

Do you realize that not everybody has the same size monitor as you?

A web page should size to fit the *contents*, not  the background. What looks good on *your* screen may be WAY to wide for someone else.
