Question:

How to change strings on my elctric guitar?

I have been playing for like 5 years but always used my acoustic guitar instead of my electric, so one day i was playing my electric guitar and one of the strings snapped so i figured i would change them all at the same time anyways. So i started loosening the low E string and when I got it off of the tuners at the top i went to take it off of the bottom where the pickups are and i noticed that they didnt come out like on a acoustic guitar. So i took the whole bridge apart and i can't seem to get them off, by the way I have a peavey raptor or somthing like that. Help would be greatly apreciated.

  1. The strings on a Peavey Raptor go straight down through the bridge, through the body, and come out the six little holes you will find on the back of the guitar. Chances are very good that since it has been unplayed for so long, the strings are simply "stuck" and you may have to poke around in the back (there's a removable plate for access).

    Good luck!
