How to change systems on the Old telefunken MP204...

Question

my sons' ps2 is running through the AV channel of the VCR because TV is too old and does not have RCA inputs .Nevertheless the PS2 was working fine until it decided to swithch over to either NTCA or B/I of I ,Idon't know because the orignal remote of the the TV broke and I could not source the orignal ,therefore went with a universal .The universal does not pick up all features on the TV .....so how do I change the system (at the moment it is black and white and jumping )
