How to change the channel on my comcast cable box?

Question

How do I change the channel without having to do like 3 numbers like if i want channel nine i have to do 009 or 9 then enter. I use the guide cause it is easier but if want to change the channel regularly how do i do it by just hitting the numbers i need and thats it?? I know its called auto something and you have to turn it on or off...well at least i think it is. What is it called and how do I change it? Thanks

go main menu by hitting menu button you might have to hit it twice its not in the quick menu then hit setup then guide setup, go down to channel entry behavior and hit the left arrow to select auto-tune
