I have installed .net framework from 1.1 to 3.5 with all updates and When I want to create a new site then there is no option for the 3.5framework web site. this is annoying.

I want to work on 3.5 framework, and I also do not know whether which version I am using 2.0 or 1.1 by default.

  1. I was under the impression that when you used VS 2005, you could only work on the 2.0 framework.  It seems that VS 2005 always wants to convert 1.1 projects to 2.0.  If this is true then you may need VS 2008 to use the 3.5 framework.
