How to change the dvd video mode

i have a DVD and it says that there are various modes, ie: standard, extended, etc), but I don't know how to change these modes, so when I burn a video I could extended my length of the DVD

  1. It's hard to say without knowing which dvd recorder you have but there should be a record speed button somewhere on the remote. Normally, you keep pressing it until you get to the EP mode. Normally, standard gives you 2 hrs, LP gives you 4 hrs and EP gives you 6 hrs of recording. It lowers the quality, of course.  


  2. There are too many types of DVD format such ..bup, vod, ifo,

    if your burn DVD using NERO Burner used standard format.

    1. Burn DVD video Files

    2. Click The add files

    3. Change total space used DVD9 (8152mb).

    the greater the space used the longer the movie u can stored.

    4. used the standard format..(bup, vod, ifo,)

    5. lower the speed to 4x.

    6. Your done.
