How to change the size of a picture?

like if i got a picture thats 700 kb or something

how do you change it to 600 kb

help?

  1. Go to downloads.com, get 'irfanview', and then once you download it, you can change your pictures sizing.  


  2. An easier way to resize picture would be by using Ms-Paint.

    *Open a picture using Ms-paint.

    *Click "CTRL+W"

    *And Resize the picture in the way you want.

    *Then Press  "CTRL+A", "Right click on the  

    picture", go down to "Copy to" and click on it, Then  choose a folder you want to save the picture to.



    *Pictures saved from ms-paint are usually in Bitmap format. So, Before you hit the save button. Choose JPEG  format for the picture on "Save type as", and hit the  save button.

  3. That's not a very drastic change. Are you trying to e-mail it? What software do you have? There are a couple things you can do: change it's pixels and or physical size in a photo editing software. Or save it as a pdf in Acrobat. Hope that helps. FYI...under 100k is best for quick e-mailing if quality isn't a concern.
