  1. You can use DVD Flick.  If you've got a lot of MPEG-4 you might be better off looking for a DVD player that can handle it - they're quite common now.

  2. I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

    1. Download ConvertXtoDVD from vso official site here:

    http://www.vso-software.fr/products/conv...

It can convert any video file.. like

avi, divx, xvid, mov, mkv, flv ,youtube,  mpeg1, mpeg2, mpeg-, nsv, dvr-ms, tivo, ts, ifo, vob, asf, wmv, realmedia, rm, rmvb, ogm,

    2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle

    3. Insert blank DVD

    4. Click "Convert"

    5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)

ConvertXtoDVD has a lot of extra nice features too,

for example you can make your own DVD menu or auto-generate it, add subtitles, auto-burn to dvd or save your conversion.

  3. As long as your current dvd burning program will accept the mp4 file, you don't need to worry about this.  The dvd burning program will reformat the video to MPEG-2 for you automatically before burning the dvd.

This is the way all dvd burning programs work.  You just need to ensure the program will accept the mp4 format, and most will.

  4. Cucusoft Video to DVD Creator is a good choice. It converts popular video formats such as AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, DV, VOB to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable or home DVD player. Any video to to VCD/DVD/SVCD is even faster than real-time.

  5. Windows Movie Maker as a free part of every windows installation should be able to handle that task as well. At least the version which comes with Vista. I have no experience in this matter with the XP version.

    good luck

  6. I heard there is free version of nero, but I didnt find it.

This is why I turn to wondershare dvd burner...which is not free!

But works very well, run smoothly and smartly.

Convert all popular video to DVD files and burn them onto blank dvd.

It still supports to customize menus and background music when menu is displayed.

    You can find it here:

    Mac version is available too.

  7. I always use Aimersoft DVD Creator, it can easily convert all popular video formats (AVI, MP4, MPG, MPEG, 3GP, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB, DAT, MOV, FLV, etc) to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable and home DVD players, that's very good, you can check it out here for free:
