right now, my strap connects to the neck, near the pegs, and down to the bottom of the body at the other end, is there any why to make it so it still connects at the bottom of the body, but instead of at the neck, have it attached to the part wrond where the 14th fret meets the body?

my friend did a custom installation where he just drilled a hole into the body and stuck a peg in there, but i was just wondering if theres any more 'proffesional' way to do it

  1. no, just bring it to a store and ask if they can do it for you, but if not, ask your buddy for some help on your project.

  2. Just drill and s***w in a peg where the neck meets the body. As you hold the guitar, put it a half inch from the face and 3/4 in from the neck. MAKE SURE THERE'S THICK WOOD THERE. look on the hole cuz you don't want in the thin wood.........Hollywood CA

  3. You'll need a vice to keep the guitar neck straight and stiff when you drill, otherwise it might warp the neck a little...
