How to check- in in chennai intl airport for a international flight? and to board it..?

Assuming you the tickets/Visas. First your baggage will be screened and then they cover it with some polythene. Then you have to go to your respective airlines show your ticket/passport and then have to get your boarding pass and also checkin your luggage.

Visitors are allowed only till the point where the line starts for the baggages screening. If you want you can come back and talk to your families and friends within the barricade.

Once you got your boarding pass and luggage checked in, you have to fill a emigration form, get your passport sealed and then declare to the customs if you are taking anything valuable and getting it back to India.

Once this process is over you have to walk to the terminals. There will be security check. Once the security check is over all you need to do is wait till your gate is announced and go to the gate and board the flight.

If you are travelling by an international flight, report to airport atleast 3 hours prior to departure,get your baggages screened by X-Ray Machine and then report to the respective airline counter, who will help you for the rest.
