Nokia phones have the following codes

*#06#  shosw ur IMEI number

*#0000% shows ur phone made and model and software versions

*#92702689# shows ur Life Timer of ur phone

Unfortunately you have to have it in your hands to do this but:

Type *#0000#

It will return:

V XX.X.x*x <- firmware version

mm-dd-yyyy <- firmware date

RM-x*x <- Important bit.

N95-3 US variant should display RM-160
