  1. Hi! I just wanted to add one more length for you.  A full-size snooker cue is 58", which is one inch longer than a standard pool cue and two inches shy of 5 feet.  I didn't know off-hand how long snooker cues were, but I knew how long a regular cue is and it only made sense that a snooker cue would be longer since the table is bigger.  I just looked on that site that Dre O gave above.

  2. In snooker a cue has to be at least 3ft. long.

Most players have cues that reach up to 15 cm below their own shoulders

,my cue is longer than that, but I make up for it by holding it further away from the butt. I chose it because of the weight, I like a cue with a reasonably heavy weight My own cue is 20 oz  but I know people who have cues that are even heavier than that.

But of course both length and weight depend totally on your own preferences

  3. All personal choice questions

If you get an entire snooker kit as I call them usualy a 5 peice just be sure that you can shoot with it the rest is just what you want it to look like I have a kit I was given I have never shot with it just dont feel right  Same rules as any cue no matter what game you will be playing with it

  4. most snooker cues come around 4 feet, the weight all depends on your tolerance..same goes for the girth (thickness) of the shaft..people with bigger hands prefer thick, those with smaller hands, fingers prefer to shape their shaft thinner for an easier clasp..they come in 16, 17, 18 & 19 oz..i prefer the lighter cues for better control..below are sites where you can find some that you may
