Well, I am a recent undergrad in organizational leadership, but after graduation I started asking myself what am I supposed to do now? Where should I look? Or what industry should I choose? I come from a diverse background, so international relations would be suited, but where should I look?what companies? To be honest I am really confused about what to do now.

  1. A great degree that can certainly apply to many positions so kudos to you.

I would do my research and make a list of companies close to where you live first. You can check on a few things for background:

Stock prices- are they doing well?

Articles online about the organization- positive, negative?

Search their website for career openings to get an idea of positions that they hire for and what is open

Talk to folks you know when you find a few who interest you...they may know someone who works there that can give you an inside scoop!

Try a professional networking site like "linkedin"  You can type in a company and see any employee who has networked on this site and contact them with questions.

    GOOD LUCK!

  2. Well, as long as you stay true to yourself, you could just go ahead and try something and if it doesn't suit you, don't be afraid to change course.

    Good luck!
