How to choose from being a midwife or nursing?

i love babys but i have also strong feelings for doing mental health nursing,childrens nursing also sounds great i just cant choose im doing my access midwifery and nursing course just now any 1 have any advice

if you really cant make up your mind then I suggest you do general adult nursing, that way if you decide to branch off into child, mental health or midwifery you will only have to do an 18 month course

Do nursing first, that way you will have explored all aspects of nursing and therefore will have a better idea of what it is you want to do.  If you decide then to go into midwifery, its only an 18 month course to qualify.
