  1. 1) you wanna choose a color that looks the same as your hand because its about the color of your face and wen you try it on you should seee if it blends into your jaw line and looks as if it disolved  in (it didnt though lol)

    2) It does not cause spots if its a good brand and blends well

    3) id say buy foundation

*TIP- when you put it on put some streaks on like war paint almost and then slightly wet a wedge sponge and do fast circles all over so it blends in =]

    hope this helps a little

  2. 1. try the foundation colour on the inside of your arm to see if it matches, if your skin is dry choose a liquid foundation, if greasy choose a matte foundation which will reduce the shiney apperance

    2. yes it will if it's too thick

    3. tinted will sometimes just make your skin look plastic, but if you don't want to put foundation on everyday then buy a moisturiser separate

  3. Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

  4. 1. Do NOT test it on your hand, it is not the same colour as your face, instead, test it on your jawline, as this is where you can often see the line of the make-up. It should blend in well.

    2. Not if you choose the right kind for your skin.

    3. Yes, because you have quite good skin, so you don't really need the coverage of a thicker foundation.

  5. NEVER TEST FOUNDATION ON UR HAND!!! Or anywhere else apart from ur face. U are putting foundation on ya face, not ur hand. Apply it on ur jawline.

  6. 1. Well it depends if you want to make your skin look darker or lighter. Dont go o the top just do one quite close to your skin tone.

    2. It covers them up but at the same time causes them...not if you moisturize before going to bed each night or in the mornings.

    3. No i think they look totoally different, personaly i use foundation and advise it.

best of luck and hope this helped

  7. The best way to test out a foundation is to actually try it on your face.  Boots, Superdrug etc all have mirrors or if you tried one of the department stores they often will put it on for you - just make sure they don't want to try and give you a darker one than you need, you'll see yourself whether it suits you.

If your skin is really good then try a tinted moisturiser, though I'd try a more up market one like Benefit's.  Skin looks younger the less you cake onto it so if you just need a little something I'd recommend that.

Don't worry too much about spots, as long as you take your make up off at night and make sure your skin is thoroughly cleansed you shouldn't have any problems.

  8. If you want to pick out a good foundation, try a good brand that you won't be allergic to, like revlon or lancome or something. Then test it out on the top of your hand to see if it matches your skin tone. Foundation doesn't cause spots it covers them up. Remember to blend really well though when wearing foundation otherwise it could look cakey!

  9. 1) go into the shop (like boots) with some make up wipes and try on all of the tones, on your face to see which one matches. (don't try it on your hand because your hand skin is usually a different colour. Personally the type of foundation if you really want foundation i would buy would be dream matte mouse because it is miricle worker. it is £6.99 in boots but you can get it cheaper off the intrnet if you really want.

    2) foundation only causes spots if you don't wash your face or take it off at night, or if it is a really cheap one it may cause spots.

    3) Since you say you have good skin i would definatly go for a tinted moisturise instead of foundation. It would be much lighter, less cakey and better for your skin. Boots naturall collection is a good on for £1.99 or tesco skin wisdom is also surprisingly good.

But since your skin is good i would say you could get awya with, just using concealer when you get the occasional spot and just using pressed powder on top of that should bee fine. Superdrug do tea tree concealler for £2.99 and tea tree helps to shrink spots and natural collection powder is £1.99

    Hope this helped

  10. If you say your skin is quite good, I don't know why you would want to start wearing foundation, did you know that foundation really does asphyxiate the skin and will cause some skin problems, I would suggest that you get yourself a good natural skincare system which will help to keep your skin moisturised, also a gentle exfoliant is very good for your skin.  I can recommend a very good one but it is only available in Australia at the moment. Instead of foundation, why don't you get yourself a bronzer, you normally can get them in a few shades, one which would be close to your skin color would be appropriate, bronzer would not be nearly as clogging to your skin as foundation because it sits on the skin, whereas foundation will be absorbed by your skin.  I wish you well.
