How to claim for delayed fight? from manila to doha hoha to germany and germany to madrid?

qatar changed my itenerary without my knowledge i was surprised when i checked my luggages the qatar staff told me that flight were changed from manila to doha - doha to madrid qatar changed it to manila to doha -doha to germany -germany to madrid.

i believe i should get a rebate/compensation for the hassle delayed for 3 hours flight and change of sched without prior notice

and when i arrive my luggage were lost i came back to the airportand pick up my luggages and the belt combi lock is missing and the trolley is also missing the padlock of my zippy UCB malletier was missing too.and my louis vuitton purse is missing ! Iberia staff said that they are not liable for the lost item inside or outside execpt if my luggage is made from combination lock ! My God This is really unfair.

  1. 1) The airline is obligated to get you from point A to point B, reasonably close to the times they told you.  A 3 hour delay is not enough to legally warrant compensation.  Neither is the fact that you changed planes somewhere other than you intended.

    2) You should have known not to put padlocks on your luggage.  Of course they need to inspect them to determine if it contains anything illegal.  Since you padlocked your luggage, they had no choice but to break the locks.  Next time you should buy what is known as a "TSA lock" - the inspectors have a special key that will open it so they do not have to destroy it.

    3) You are correct - you should complain about your purse being missing.  But often they will not take responsibility for high-value items.  I know this applies to iPods and digital cameras (they say you should carry them on instead) so I am not sure what the policy is for designer handbags.

    You will need to probably file a claim directly with them. Its very frustrating as things have been stolen out of my bags as well recently. Good luck
